Please join us for the IWFF Rendezvous at Stoney Lake Lodge on the Douglas Lake Ranch in the interior of British Columbia. We will fish for 3-5 pound rainbows using dry flies, leeches, chironomids, damsels and scuds. Come and enjoy world class fly fishing on the largest cattle ranch in British Columbia.

Still waters fly fishing is a challenge to master. Casting chironomids to sited fish is a huge thrill. Stripping leeches or hand twisting damsel flies to entice trout can transfix you for hours.  If you find casting for long periods of time tiring, troll a fly and watch a string of horses or a flock of geese. Your payment includes the use of a boat (two people per boat) at no extra cost. Fishing guides are available to increase your skill set but must be booked in advance for an additional fee.

Brian Chan, expert Still Waters enthusiast is available to talk with participants about entomology, water temperatures, fly selection and lake biology.  The first evening will include a fly exchange among participants. Brent Gill, Recreation Manager of the Ranch will be available to answer any questions about use of the ranch. Fly Fishing books recently produced by the Kalamalka Fly Fishers will be given to each participant; they include information, photos and fly tying recipes for flies that work in the interior of BC. Vises available onsite for demonstrations and lessons.
