The Rendezvous at the Historic Tapoco Lodge outside of Robbinsville, NC has been years in the planning and the first in this east coast mountain location. I am very happy to be able to share the North Carolina and Tennessee Appalachian rivers, small mountain streams, tail waters and lakes with you. The rendezvous will include a presentation on the area fisheries, mountains, trails, a guided tour of the Cheoah Dam, and yes, a Mountain Challenge. The Mountain Challenge is a fishing competition using traditional Appalachian gear! A movie will be shown at the Tapoco Lodge Theater one evening. FYI: There are not fishing shops on or very close to the property. If you hire a guide they will supply flies. Please plan ahead for your North Carolina and or Tennessee fishing license, your choice of flies, and your transportation arrangements. The Lodge will supply a list of guides and assist you with planning your fishing. Watch for email updates about fishing preparations as we get closer to April. You must be an IWFF Member to attend this rendezvous.
